About the role:
We are looking for a highly motivated Digital Marketing Specialist to drive organic growth among Telugu-speaking audiences worldwide, including India, the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow Smart Astro organically across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, Telegram and other relevant platforms.
- Create, schedule and manage Telugu and English content.
- Build awareness within Telugu communities and NRI groups.
- Identify and engage relevant Facebook groups, Telegram communities, WhatsApp communities and online forums.
- Develop content ideas for reels, shorts, social media posts, articles and community engagement campaigns.
- Assist with SEO and website content optimisation.
- Monitor social media performance and website traffic.
- Track competitor activities and emerging trends.
- Work closely with the founder to execute growth initiatives.
- Generate qualified registrations and customer enquiries through organic marketing efforts.
Required Skills
- 1–3 years of Digital Marketing experience.
- Strong Telugu and English communication skills.
- Experience managing Instagram, Facebook and YouTube channels.
- Familiarity with Canva, ChatGPT and social media scheduling tools.
- Basic understanding of SEO and Google Analytics.
- Strong research and community engagement skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience marketing to Telugu audiences.
- Experience working with NRI communities.
- Experience creating engaging reels and short-form video content.
- Understanding of AI, technology, personal development, wellness or astrology sectors is an advantage.
