1. Safety Management & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Implement company safety policies and procedures across all project and service sites.
- Monitor compliance with customer-specific safety requirements.
- Maintain safety documentation, permits, and records.
- Conduct periodic safety audits and inspections.
2. Site Safety Monitoring
- Conduct regular site visits to installation and maintenance locations.
- Identify unsafe conditions and unsafe acts.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure closure of safety observations within stipulated timelines.
3. Risk Assessment & Hazard Control
- Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Risk Assessments for site activities.
- Identify hazards associated with:
- Working at height
- Hoistway operations
- Electrical works
- Material handling
- Lifting operations
- Testing and commissioning activities
- Recommend suitable control measures.
4. Toolbox Talks & Safety Training
- Conduct daily/weekly toolbox talks for field personnel.
- Organize safety induction programs for new employees and subcontractors.
5. PPE Management
- Ensure availability and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain PPE issue records.
6. Incident Investigation
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe occurrences.
- Prepare investigation reports.
- Conduct root cause analysis.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Track implementation of actions.
7. Emergency Preparedness
- Develop and implement emergency response plans.
- Coordinate emergency drills and mock exercises.
- Ensure availability of emergency equipment and first-aid kits.
8. Contractor Safety Management
- Monitor safety compliance of subcontractors.
- Conduct contractor safety inductions.
- Evaluate contractor safety performance.
- Ensure contractors follow company and customer safety standards.
9. Safety Reporting & MIS
- Prepare and submit periodic safety reports.
- Maintain records of:
- Site inspections
- Training programs
- Incidents and near misses
- Safety observations
- Corrective actions
