Job Summary
The Senior Fitness Consultant is responsible for designing and delivering personalized fitness programs, supervising fitness staff, ensuring high-quality member experience, and supporting the overall operations of the wellness centre. This role combines advanced fitness expertise with leadership, client relationship management, and business development.
Key Responsibilities1. Client Fitness & Wellness Services
- Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments (body composition, posture, flexibility, endurance)
- Design customized exercise and wellness programs based on client goals
- Monitor client progress and adjust programs accordingly
- Provide guidance on nutrition, recovery, and lifestyle habits
- Ensure safe and effective use of equipment
2. Team Leadership & Training
- Supervise and mentor junior trainers and fitness consultants
- Conduct staff training sessions and performance evaluations
- Ensure adherence to fitness standards and safety protocols
3. Member Engagement & Retention
- Build strong relationships with clients to improve retention
- Address member concerns and provide solutions
- Conduct fitness workshops, group sessions, and wellness seminars
4. Sales & Business Development
- Support membership sales and personal training packages
- Upsell wellness services (PT sessions, specialized programs)
- Achieve individual and team revenue targets
5. Operations & Compliance
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the fitness area
- Ensure all equipment is functional and regularly serviced
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Maintain client records and progress reports
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or related field
- Certified Fitness Trainer (e.g., ACE, ACSM, NASM, ISSA or equivalent)
- CPR & First Aid certification
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in fitness training or wellness industry
- Minimum 2–3 years in a senior or supervisory role preferred

Pay: ₹9,586.55 - ₹30,000.00 per month
