Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineering professional to lead the development of scalable data pipelines and modern cloud-based data platforms. The candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to build reliable, high-quality data solutions for analytics and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership: Lead engineering teams in the build-out of high-fidelity, incremental data pipelines handling terabyte-scale data.
Golden Layer Development: Oversee the transformation of raw data into curated, business-ready 'Gold' layers (Fact & Dimension tables).
Platform Migration: Manage the migration of legacy data architectures to modern, automated, or low-code frameworks.
Quality Assurance: Implement automated data quality gates and CI/CD pipelines to ensure data integrity and platform reliability.
Infrastructure Scoping: Work directly with stakeholders to understand data sources and define technical specifications for engineering pods.
Skills:
Advanced SQL & Python, Pipeline Orchestration, Dataflow/Dataproc, Incremental Loading Patterns, GCP (Bigquery)
Performance Tuning , Data Quality Automation, Unit/Integration Testing for Pipelines, Mentorship/Team Management.
