Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Leadership & Design Management
- Develop and implement the overall vision, strategy, and growth plan for the Interior Design Division.
- Establish and streamline design standards, operational workflows, and strict quality benchmarks across all residential projects.
- Drive innovation in residential interior solutions, focusing on modular designs, premium aesthetics, and smart space optimization.
- Introduce contemporary, sustainable, and highly functional design trends that resonate with homeowners in Kerala.
- Review and approve all conceptual layouts, mood boards, material selections, furniture specifications, and detailed construction drawings.
2. Project Execution & Site Monitoring
- Oversee end-to-end execution of interior projects, managing everything from initial design approval to the final key handover.
- Coordinate seamlessly with cross-functional teams including architects, project managers, civil engineers, procurement teams, contractors, and external vendors.
- Ensure projects are executed safely, delivered strictly on time, and remain aligned with budget allocations and quality specifications.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, perform quality audits, and resolve immediate design or construction bottlenecks on-site.
3. Revenue Growth & Client Management
- Design, curate, and position custom-built interior design packages and upselling opportunities specifically for home buyers.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to actively promote Varma Homes' in-house interior design services.
- Engage directly with premium clients during personal design consultations and at critical project milestones to ensure high client retention and absolute satisfaction.
4. Team Leadership & Vendor Management
- Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing team consisting of interior designers, 3D visualizers, site supervisors, and project coordinators.
- Establish clear performance goals and run periodic reviews to foster a culture of accountability and creativity.
- Identify, onboard, and build strategic relationships with reliable suppliers, manufacturers, and sub-contractors while negotiating pricing and service agreements.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field. A Master’s Degree in Design Management, Architecture, or Business Administration (MBA) is highly preferred.
- Experience: 10–15+ years of extensive experience in interior design and project execution. Minimum of 5 years of verified total work experience in residential real estate, apartments, villas, and premium housing projects is heavily preferred.
- Portfolio: A strong, comprehensive portfolio demonstrating successful execution of large-scale, premium residential interiors.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
