Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily fabrication activities at site.
- Take and verify site measurements and ensure work is executed as per drawings/specifications.
- Plan and manage manpower, welders, fitters, helpers and other workers.
- Allocate daily work and ensure timely completion of assigned targets.
- Monitor cutting, fitting, welding, erection and finishing activities.
- Check dimensions, alignment, levels and overall quality of fabricated work.
- Coordinate with engineers, site supervisors, contractors and clients.
- Arrange and manage required manpower for site work when necessary.
- Maintain daily work progress, manpower and material records.
- Identify site requirements and communicate them to management.
- Ensure proper utilization of materials, tools and equipment.
- Handle basic site-level issues and ensure smooth execution of work.
- Follow required safety and site compliance procedures.
- Ensure workers follow proper safety practices and work discipline.
- Prepare/assist with measurement sheets, quantity calculations and billing-related measurements.
- Take responsibility for achieving work targets within the given timeline.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of fabrication, fitting and welding work.
- Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings.
- Good knowledge of site measurements and quantity calculations.
- Ability to manage a team of workers effectively.
- Strong site execution and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel / mobile-based reporting preferred.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel/work at different project sites as required.
Experience
2–5 years of experience in fabrication/site supervision preferred.
Pay: ₹10,587.56 - ₹34,006.74 per month
Work Location: Remote
