Job Summary :
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Service Engineer with a minimum of 3
years of experience in servicing and repairing Battery Packs and Fintech Devices
such as Biometric Devices, Thermal Printers, POS Terminals, and Micro-ATM
devices. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair,
testing, and ensuring quality standards for serviced products.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair Battery Packs, including cell replacement, BMS
troubleshooting, and performance testing.
Troubleshoot and service Fintech devices such as:
o Biometric Devices (Fingerprint/Iris)
o Thermal Printers
o POS Terminals
o Micro-ATM Devices
o Android-based Payment Devices
Perform component-level and module-level repairs on PCBs.
Analyze electrical, mechanical, firmware, and communication-related issues.
Conduct functional testing and quality verification after repair activities.
Maintain service records, repair reports, and failure analysis documentation.
Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams for recurring
failure analysis and corrective actions.
Ensure adherence to ESD, IPC, and company quality standards during repair
activities.
Support field service teams with technical troubleshooting and issue
resolution.
Manage spare parts inventory and ensure proper utilization of service
materials.
Required Skills :
Strong knowledge of Lithium-ion Battery Packs and Battery Management
Systems (BMS).
Hands-on experience in servicing Fintech devices and thermal printing
mechanisms.
Good understanding of electronic circuits, PCB troubleshooting, and
soldering/rework techniques.
Experience using testing equipment such as Multimeters, Power Supplies and
Battery Testers.
Ability to read circuit diagrams, schematics, and service manuals.
Knowledge of ESD handling and electronic assembly standards.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Educational Qualification
Diploma / ITI in Electronics or related field.
Certification in Electronics Repair or IPC standards will be an added
advantage.
