Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to identify opportunities, nurture leads, and convert clients for our AI and automation services. You will be responsible for generating new business, managing inbound & outbound pipelines, coordinating with the tech team, and ensuring a smooth deal-closing process.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify potential clients through LinkedIn, Upwork, Apollo, email outreach, and partnerships
- Run outbound campaigns (LinkedIn, cold email, calls) targeting SMBs, startups, SaaS companies, and agencies
- Maintain & update CRM pipeline regularly (HubSpot / Notion)
Client Communication & Qualification
- Understand client requirements and present suitable AI/automation solutions
- Conduct discovery calls, explain capabilities, gather technical briefs
- Qualify leads based on budget, scope, and urgency
- Follow up consistently to increase conversion rates
Proposal & Deal Closing
- Prepare proposals, costing, SOWs, and project timelines
- Work closely with the technical team for estimates and feasibility
- Drive strong conversion from conversation → proposal → contract
- Negotiate pricing and close deals professionally
Market Research & Growth
- Identify new AI trends, verticals, and service expansion opportunities
- Research competitor offerings and market positioning
- Suggest new outreach strategies based on analytics and performance
Coordination & Reporting
- Work with tech and delivery teams for smooth onboarding of new clients
- Report weekly numbers: leads generated, calls done, proposals sent, deals closed
- Maintain strong communication with management
Required Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in business development or IT sales
- Excellent English communication (written & verbal)
- Strong understanding of IT, SaaS, or AI/Automation industry
- Ability to run LinkedIn + cold email outreach campaigns
- Comfort with CRM tools (HubSpot / Notion)
- Strong follow-up skills and deal-closing mindset
- Ability to understand technical briefs and translate to requirements
- Goal-driven with high ownership
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with AI/ML, LLMs, automations, or SaaS products
- Prior experience with US/UK clients
- Knowledge of Upwork, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io
- Basic understanding of workflows, APIs, or automation platforms
