Assurance Hydrotech is seeking an experienced Design Engineer with hands-on expertise in designing and manufacturing Hydraulic Cylinders and Hydraulic Power Packs. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and engineering documentation. The candidate will work closely with the production and sales teams to develop reliable and cost-effective hydraulic solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design Hydraulic Cylinders (Single Acting, Double Acting, Tie Rod, Welded, Telescopic, and Custom Cylinders).
- Design Hydraulic Power Packs according to customer requirements and application specifications.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and BOM (Bill of Materials).
- Perform hydraulic calculations including cylinder force, pressure, flow rate, pump selection, motor sizing, and oil tank capacity.
- Select hydraulic components such as pumps, valves, motors, filters, manifolds, pressure gauges, and fittings.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure manufacturability and timely project completion.
- Support the sales team with technical proposals, quotations, and customer discussions.
- Troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues and implement improvements.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards and customer specifications.
- Maintain design documentation, revision records, and engineering data.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Hydraulic Cylinder and Hydraulic Power Pack design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, CATIA
- Experience in hydraulic calculations and component selection.
- Knowledge of hydraulic circuits and schematic preparation.
- Understanding of machining processes, welding, fabrication, and assembly.
- Ability to prepare manufacturing drawings and BOM.
- Familiarity with hydraulic seals, materials, and surface finishing.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Hydraulic Cylinder and Hydraulic Power Pack manufacturing.
- Experience in custom hydraulic solutions will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 per month
