Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair on heavy commercial vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and service manuals, and carry out accurate repairs to manufacturer standards.
- Inspect vehicles and identify defects, ensuring all repairs meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements before vehicle delivery.
- Maintain service records and job documentation, including repair details, parts used, and work completed, while following workshop procedures.
- Ensure workplace safety and cleanliness by adhering to safety guidelines, using tools and equipment correctly, and supporting efficient workshop operations.
