A Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates patient care, administers prescribed treatments and medications, monitors vital signs, and educates patients and their families. They collaborate with doctors to implement care plans and often supervise licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and nursing assistants in various healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities-
- Patient Assessment: Evaluate patient conditions, record medical histories, and observe symptoms.
- Treatment & Care: Administer medications, initiate IV therapies, and perform diagnostic tests in accordance with physician orders.
- Care Planning: Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams to develop, implement, and adjust individualized patient care plans.
- Patient Education: Counsel patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment protocols, and post-discharge home care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, compliant patient health records using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
- Supervision: Direct and support LPNs, nursing aides, and ancillary healthcare staff to ensure hospital or clinic standards are met.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
