- Curriculum Delivery: Develop and teach courses covering core mechanical and electrical automotive systems, including alternative fuels, EVs, and ADAS.
- Practical Instruction: Conduct laboratory sessions and guide students in using computer-aided design (CAD) software, testing engines, and diagnosing vehicle faults.
- Student Assessment: Design and grade assignments, lab manuals, quizzes, and examinations to monitor academic progress.
- Project Mentorship: Guide undergraduate and postgraduate students through capstone projects, research endeavors, and industrial internships.
- Industry Collaboration: Partner with automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and suppliers to ensure curricula remain aligned with current industry standards.
- Departmental Duties: Participate in institutional committee work, accreditation processes (such as NBA or NAAC), and faculty meetings.
- Education: A Master's degree (M.E./M.Tech) or Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Industry Experience: Relevant hands-on experience in the automotive sector (e.g., manufacturing, EV maintenance, or R&D) is highly valued alongside academic backgrounds.
- Teaching Skills: Strong capability in pedagogy, classroom management, and communicating complex engineering concepts clearly in English.
- Technical Competency: Proficiency in modern automotive diagnostic tools, CAD/FEA software, and green vehicle technologies.
