Job Title: Remote Truck Dispatcher (U.S.) – 1-2 Years Experience

About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Truck Dispatcher to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in truck dispatching within the U.S. trucking industry and a solid understanding of logistics, load boards, and carrier communication.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule daily truck routes for drivers across the U.S.
- Communicate with drivers, brokers, and customers to ensure timely pickups and deliveries
- Track and monitor shipments in real time, updating stakeholders as needed
- Negotiate rates with brokers/shippers to maximize profitability
- Use load boards (DAT, Truckstop.com, etc.) to find and secure loads
- Maintain accurate records of loads, mileage, and driver hours (HOS compliance)
- Resolve delivery issues, delays, or route problems quickly and professionally
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company policies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and brokers
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience as a truck dispatcher (U.S. trucking industry required)
- Familiarity with load boards such as DAT, Truckstop, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of U.S. trucking routes, states, and logistics terminology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet home workspace
- Availability to work U.S. business hours (specify time zone if needed)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with dispatch software (e.g, DAT One, truckstop, etc.)
- Knowledge of FMCSA/DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) rules
