Job Overview: We are looking for a motivated Marketing Coordinator with at least 1+ year of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about sports and have a solid understanding of how to create and implement effective marketing strategies for sports events, athletes, and brands. Experience in digital marketing will be an added advantage, as the role involves leveraging online channels to drive engagement and enhance the digital presence of our sports initiatives.
The role also requires supporting and organizing meetings with coaches, stakeholders, and partners to ensure the success of various marketing and sports-related campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Campaigns:
- Develop and execute innovative marketing campaigns to promote events, athletes, and teams.
- Work closely with internal teams and partners to align marketing strategies with event goals and audience expectations.
- Event Promotion and Management:
- Plan and coordinate the marketing efforts for local, regional, and national sports events.
- Utilize both traditional and digital channels to promote upcoming events and boost attendance.
- Ensure continuous engagement through social media, email, and other platforms before, during, and after events.
- Digital Marketing and Social Media:
- Manage and grow social media platforms related to sports events, teams, and athletes.
- Implement SEO, SEM, and paid advertising strategies to enhance the digital visibility of the brand.
- Create engaging content (videos, images, blogs) and manage content calendars for various platforms.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor campaign performance using digital analytics tools and provide regular reports on ROI, reach, and engagement.
- Adjust strategies based on performance metrics to continuously improve marketing efforts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 1+ year in sports marketing, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in using digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Familiarity with SEO, SEM, and content management systems.
- Experience with social media management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
Additional Skills:
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially in organizing meetings with coaches and stakeholders.
- Creativity: Ability to think outside the box and come up with fresh, engaging marketing strategies.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to assess data, analyze performance, and tweak campaigns for better results.
- Organization & Coordination: Strong organizational skills to manage meetings and marketing campaigns simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of graphic design or video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Experience working with sports teams, coaches, or athletes.
- A deep understanding of sports culture and the fan community.
