Senior Full-Stack Developer (Python/Django + React)
We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to join our team building automation-driven web applications that integrate with third-party systems, process documents/data, and handle business-critical workflows. You'll work across the full stack — backend services, APIs, front-end UI, and database design — while also contributing to automation and data-processing pipelines.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving real-world problems involving backend architecture, third-party API integrations, workflow automation, and applying modern AI tools to practical business use cases.
-
Design, build, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Python/Django.
-
Develop and maintain ReactJS-based front-end applications and dashboards.
-
Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas for transactional and reporting data.
-
Build automation workflows that interact with external systems/portals (data retrieval, file processing, scheduled jobs).
-
Build data-extraction pipelines to process documents (PDFs, scanned files, structured/unstructured data) using OCR, parsing libraries, and/or AI-based tools.
-
Integrate with third-party APIs and external platforms as part of application workflows.
-
Apply AI/ML tools — open-source models or commercial AI APIs — to improve automation accuracy where relevant.
-
Handle edge cases, error recovery, and reliability for automated/background processes.
-
Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code following Django and React best practices.
-
Manage source control using Git, follow branching/PR workflows, and participate in code reviews.
-
Collaborate closely with the team to prioritize features, debug issues, and improve system reliability.
-
Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications running on Linux (Ubuntu) servers, including logs and scheduled jobs (cron/Celery).
-
Document technical processes and maintain internal technical documentation.
-
4+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
-
Strong proficiency in Python and Django (REST APIs, ORM, background task processing).
-
Solid experience with ReactJS (hooks, state management, component design).
-
Strong working knowledge of PostgreSQL (schema design, query optimization, migrations).
-
Experience with web scraping / browser automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Puppeteer).
-
Experience with document/data extraction (e.g., PyMuPDF, pdfplumber, OCR tools like Tesseract, or AI-based extraction).
-
Familiarity with using AI/LLM tools for data extraction or automation — either open-source models (e.g., Qwen-VL family or similar) self-hosted, or via commercial AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, etc.) — is a strong plus.
-
Experience integrating with third-party/partner APIs.
-
Comfortable working with background job processing (Celery, cron, task queues).
-
Proficient with Git and collaborative version control workflows (branching, PRs, code review).
-
Experience deploying and maintaining applications on Linux (Ubuntu) servers.
-
Strong debugging skills across multi-service pipelines.
-
Good written communication skills for documentation.
-
Experience with regulated or data-sensitive domains (healthcare, fintech, insurance, etc.).
-
Hands-on experience deploying open-source AI/vision-language models locally/on-server, or integrating AI APIs into extraction/automation pipelines.
-
Experience with financial/transactional reconciliation systems.
-
Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
-
Familiarity with third-party financial/data APIs (e.g., Plaid, Finicity, or similar).
-
Opportunity to work on real, production automation and integration projects.
-
Direct collaboration with the team — high ownership, fast decision-making, no bureaucracy.
-
Chance to lead a team
