Job Description:
Responsible for total patient care including medication and treatment
Assists the physician in performing special procedures
Able to perform CPR
Evaluate the women and new born.
Anticipate any potential problem or diagnosis and health care needs based on the collection of subjective and objective data.
Develop a comprehensive plan of care in partnership with women.
Evaluate the effectiveness of the plan of care.
Equipments and stock maintenance. Care of Women
Assessing the women’s physical, mental and social health.
Making screening and immunization.
Performs Phlebotomy Skills.
Knowledge of Hemodynamic.
Administers pain medication as ordered.
Administers other meds to address specific medical condition such as hypertension and diabetics.
Monitors and records antenatal mother’s vital signs
Reads fatal monitor and ascertains if there is a problematic.
Checks mother’s cervical dilation on progress of labour.
Keeps the instrument and equipment's ready and in working condition.
Maintain aseptic techniques
Maintains birth register, MTP register and all records related to deliveries.
