Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced L3 Linux & Cloud Engineer responsible for designing, supporting, and optimizing enterprise Linux and cloud infrastructure across AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role serves as the highest escalation point for complex incidents, ensuring system stability, performance, security, and observability through Zabbix and automation-driven operations.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and support enterprise Linux environments (RHEL, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu).

Troubleshoot advanced system issues related to CPU, memory, disk, filesystem, and network performance.
-
Implement OS hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation across environments.
-
Administer AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, EBS, ELB, and CloudWatch.

Manage OCI services including Compute, VCN, Storage, and IAM.
-
Lead cloud optimization, migration, and architecture improvement initiatives.
-
Act as L3 escalation point for critical Linux and cloud incidents (P1/P2).

Perform end-to-end root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive solutions.

Design, implement, and optimize monitoring solutions using Zabbix.
-
Develop Bash scripts for automation and operational efficiency; Python preferred.

Support Infrastructure as Code initiatives (Terraform, CloudFormation, OCI Resource Manager).

Maintain security compliance and enforce Linux hardening standards.

Create SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation.

Mentor L1/L2 engineers and drive operational best practices.
Required Skills:

Experience in Linux and cloud infrastructure engineering.

Strong hands-on expertise in Linux (RHEL, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu).

Experience in AWS and OCI cloud environments.

Strong expertise in Zabbix monitoring (setup, tuning, dashboards, triggers).

Advanced troubleshooting of enterprise production systems.
-
Strong Bash scripting skills (mandatory).
-
Experience in incident management and RCA ownership.

Exposure to security hardening and vulnerability management.

Experience working in enterprise or MSP environments.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in Linux and cloud infrastructure engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Linux administration (RHEL, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu).
- Proven experience in managing and supporting AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.
- Strong experience in L3 incident management, escalation handling, and end-to-end RCA ownership.
- Expertise in enterprise monitoring tools, especially Zabbix (setup, tuning, dashboards, alerts, and scaling).
- Strong Bash scripting skills for automation and operational tasks (mandatory).
- Experience in OS hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation in production environments.
