Manage the technical architecture, configuration, security, and lifecycle of M3 Sales and Supply Chain Management (SCM) applications. The role is responsible for proposing and delivering robust technical solutions that align with business objectives, IT standards, and security requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Development & Release Management
Translate business and solution requirements into detailed technical specifications.
Create, process, and release solution data and configuration changes.
Develop, maintain, test, and deploy solution enhancements and fixes.
Coordinate release management activities, including planning, validation, and communication.
Application Lifecycle & Technical Governance
Support application lifecycle maintenance, including hosting, integrations, performance monitoring, and technical upgrades.
Ensure solutions comply with IT security policies, data privacy regulations, and enterprise architecture standards.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology trends and advancements relevant to M3 Sales and SCM.
Process Optimization & Innovation
Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and AI-driven capabilities within the application landscape.
Recommend and implement improvements that enhance efficiency, reliability, and user experience.
Project & Stakeholder Management
Act as a subject matter expert (SME), coordinator, and/or project manager for assigned initiatives.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, key users, vendors, and AMS (Application Management Services) partners.
Provide guidance during project planning, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Support & Incident Management
Participate in troubleshooting production incidents and provide timely resolution support.
Work with AMS partners to ensure service quality, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
Training, Communication & Documentation
Train and support solution key users on new functionalities and process changes.
Communicate release updates, impacts, and best practices to stakeholders.
Maintain comprehensive solution documentation, including technical specifications, configurations, and operational procedures.
Core Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
3–7 years of hands-on configuration experience with M3 Sales and SCM (including Operations).
Strong understanding of application architecture, integrations, and release management practices.
ITIL knowledge is required; ITIL certification is preferred.
Familiarity with security, compliance, and data privacy requirements in enterprise environments.
