L55 – Engineering Manager, Product & Engineering
The Engineering Manager is an integral part of the technical application development team and primarily responsible for building and delivering the enterprise IT solutions. This position provides opportunity to lead and manage projects and programs for internal IT organization. Engineering manager is a hands-on technical manager managing significant strategic and technical aspect of projects and programs, including communications with Leadership, leading multifunctional teams, quality, and adherence to Deloitte standards.

Lead application development efforts for enterprise IT solutions built on Microsoft technologies

Drive Agile delivery activities, including requirement planning, application design, and technical execution across cross-functional teams

Direct technical tasks for the team, resolve technical issues, and conduct code reviews to support delivery quality

Partner with the Engagement Manager to support the team, projects, and products across the portfolio

Collaborate with onshore and offshore team members to implement development and application support strategies aligned to Deloitte standards

A shared services center is a simple concept but making it work is anything but easy. It involves consolidating and standardizing a wildly diverse collection of systems, processes, and functions. And if requires a high degree of cooperation among business units that generally are not accustomed to working together – with people who do not necessarily want to change.
USI shared services team provides a wide array of services to the U.S. and it is constantly evaluating and expanding its portfolio. The shared services team provides call center support, Document Services support, financial processing and analysis support, Record management support, Ethics and compliance support and admin assistant support.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualifications
Required:
-
Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Electronics; Master of Computer Applications; or Master of Science in Computer Science

10+ years of experience in information technology application development, support, or maintenance activities

4+ years of experience in technical team management

Experience supporting at least 2 full software development life cycles

Hands-on experience with ASP.NET, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React or Angular, SQL Server, and Microsoft Azure
Preferred:
-
2+ years of experience in Agile / Scrum methodology

Experience supporting client-facing work and onshore-offshore delivery models
-
Experience working in global environments across multiple development sites and time zones
