ABOUT THE ROLE
This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to work at the intersection of strategy, operations, and technology. You will be embedded within an active project environment — supporting cross-functional teams, driving delivery discipline, and developing the foundational skills required to lead complex programs. Grounded in PMI, Agile, and hybrid delivery frameworks, this role is designed to build future-ready project leaders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Coordination & Delivery Support

Coordinate and facilitate in-depth project reviews, follow up on action items from meetings and workshops for end-to-end project execution.

Support the Project Manager in maintaining a healthy project pipeline — tracking milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities.

Assist in building and maintaining project charters, WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), and RACI matrices.
Meetings, Workshops & Communication

Plan and facilitate meetings and workshops with structured agendas; capture accurate meeting minutes, decisions, and action items.

Prepare stakeholder-ready status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries (weekly/monthly cadences).

Draft clear project communications — announcements, risk alerts, change notifications — tailored to different audience levels.
Tracking, Reporting & Data

Track business and technical deliverables, risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID log management).

Keep project plans, schedules, and trackers up to date in real time using Smartsheet, Jira, or equivalent PM tools.

Build simple dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, or Smartsheet to surface project health metrics.

Support post-project retrospectives and capture lessons learned to feed into continuous improvement cycles.
Agile & Process Improvement

Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Contribute to process mapping and optimization initiatives — identify bottlenecks and propose workflow improvements.

Support change management activities including stakeholder impact assessments and training coordination.
AI, Digital & Innovation
-
Explore and apply AI-powered productivity tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Notion AI) to automate repetitive PM tasks.

Support digital transformation initiatives by documenting current-state processes and helping design future-state workflows.

Contribute ideas for improving team productivity through emerging technologies and best practices from the PM community.
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Background

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's program in Engineering in mechanical or related field.

Knowledge in project management, supply chain management, or operations — academic or professional experience both valued.

Exposure to PM frameworks: PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certifications are a plus (not mandatory).
