About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SDET with deep expertise in UI Quality Engineering to help ensure the quality, accessibility, performance, and consistency of a modern Design System used across multiple web and mobile applications.
This is not a traditional API/backend automation role. We are specifically looking for engineers who have spent the majority of their career testing rich web user interfaces, reusable UI component libraries, SDKs, or Design Systems. If your passion is ensuring pixel-perfect, accessible, responsive, high-performing user interfaces through automation, this role is for you. Candidates with predominantly API/backend automation experience are unlikely to be shortlisted.
- Build and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks and regression suites.
- Validate reusable UI components through functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Implement automated visual regression, accessibility (WCAG/A11y), responsive, and cross-browser/device testing.
- Ensure consistent behavior across Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and mobile platforms (iOS/Android).
- Validate UI performance and client-side reliability.
- Integrate automated quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
- Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve test creation, maintenance, and defect analysis.
- 3-6 years of hands-on experience in UI automation testing using Playwright (preferred), Cypress, or Selenium.
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills.
- Proven experience with accessibility testing, visual regression testing, responsive testing, and cross-browser/device testing.
- Experience testing Design Systems, UI Component Libraries, SDKs, or reusable frontend components is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with tools such as Storybook, axe-core, Percy/Applitools, BrowserStack/Sauce Labs, and modern CI/CD practices is a plus.
We are specifically looking for engineers who specialize in UI Quality Engineering. Candidates with strong hands-on experience in UI automation, accessibility, visual regression, responsive design, and reusable component testing will be prioritized.
