- Review customer drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies for new products.
- Develop manufacturing process plans for VMC machining.
- Prepare process flow, operation sheets, and work instructions.
- Coordinate product development activities until SOP (Start of Production).
- Create CNC programs for Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) using CAM software or manual programming.
- Optimize machining cycles to improve productivity.
- Select suitable cutting tools, inserts, and machining parameters.
- Perform prove-out and program validation on machines.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize cycle time.
