SUPPLIER RISK SPECIALIST
POSITION OVERVIEW
Location: Mumbai, India
Role: Supplier Risk Specialist
Reporting to: Center of Excellence Procurement Manager
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Supplier Risk Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting the establishment and continuous development of the organization's third-party risk management (TPRM) approach. The role is primarily directed at supplier due diligence execution, associated analysis, and documentation. Acting as a subject matter expert (SME), the incumbent will identify, assess, report, and monitor supplier risks using third-party intelligence to evaluate financial, ESG, and other key aspects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Supplier Due Diligence Execution: Conduct risk assessments based on the Third-Party Risk Framework and perform initial, periodic, and ad-hoc reviews.
· Data Collection & Validation: Manage distribution and analysis of supplier questionnaires regarding financial viability, cybersecurity, and ESG compliance.
· Compliance Monitoring & Reporting: Track compliance with the Supplier Code of Conduct, review legacy contracts, and provide regular risk dashboards for senior management.
· Onboarding & Expert Support: Guide suppliers through onboarding and train Procurement/Business SMEs on risk policies.
· Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary interface between Global Procurement and internal risk functions (Legal, Compliance, Cyber).
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
· 3-5 years of experience in Procurement, Vendor Risk Management, or Operational Risk.
· Strong understanding of financial, operational, regulatory, and reputational risk domains.
· Proven ability to assess risk in complex supplier arrangements.
· Proficiency with GRC and TPRM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, SAP Ariba).
· Preferred: Strong reporting skills, proficiency in Python or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), and knowledge of financial regulations (e.g., FINMA, EBA).
Pay: ₹2,500,000.00 - ₹4,000,000.00 per year
