Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Engineer to lead and oversee engineering activities for our real estate projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, structural engineering, and project management, ensuring the successful execution of high-quality real estate developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Design:
- Review architectural and engineering designs to ensure feasibility, compliance with building codes, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, and contractors during the design and pre-construction phases.
- Construction Oversight:
- Manage and supervise all phases of construction projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Conduct site inspections and troubleshoot technical challenges as they arise.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including developers, clients, and government authorities.
- Provide technical advice and solutions to internal teams and external partners.
- Budget and Cost Management:
- Prepare project budgets, estimate costs, and ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Monitor expenses and work closely with the procurement team to select materials and vendors.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality control processes to ensure high standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Address defects and ensure timely resolution of any construction-related issues.
- Team Leadership:
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.
- Lead engineering teams to deliver innovative and sustainable construction solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in construction or real estate projects, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, or similar tools.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
