Social Media Manager Location: DPS Kolar
We are looking for a creative, trend-savvy, and passionate Social Media Manager to strengthen our digital presence and showcase the vibrant life of our school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute monthly social media content calendars aligned with the school's events, achievements, and campaigns.
- Create basic graphic designs and perform simple photo/video editing for social media platforms.
- Capture and document daily school activities, events, celebrations, and student achievements.
- Manage and grow our Instagram and other social media platforms through engaging, authentic, and audience-focused content.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, reels, challenges, and platform updates to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Build and nurture a trusted, engaged, and organic online community.
- Coordinate with various departments to gather stories, updates, and content opportunities.
- Monitor social media performance and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital platforms.
Skills Required:
- 2–3 years of experience in Social Media Management.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Express, Photoshop, CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging social media trends.
- Basic photography and videography skills.
- Excellent storytelling, and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
