Role Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Associate Professor in Computer Science & Engineering to contribute to teaching, research, academic development, and student mentoring. The candidate should have a strong academic background, research publications, and the ability to support accreditation and academic excellence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in CSE and allied subjects
- Develop lesson plans, course materials, and assessment methods
- Guide student projects, internships, and research activities
- Conduct laboratory sessions and practical training
Research Responsibilities:
- Publish research papers in reputed journals (Scopus/SCI/UGC Care preferred)
- Apply for research grants and funded projects
- Participate in conferences, workshops, and FDPs
- Guide PhD/M.Tech research scholars (if applicable)
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Support NAAC/NBA accreditation activities
- Participate in curriculum development and academic committees
- Assist in admissions, academic planning, and departmental activities
- Maintain academic records and documentation
Student Development:
- Mentor students for academic and career growth
- Support placement activities and industry interaction
- Encourage innovation, coding culture, and technical competitions
Required Skills:
- Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science domains
- Good teaching and presentation skills
- Research orientation and publication record
- Knowledge of AI, Data Science, Cloud, Cyber Security (preferred)
- Good communication and mentoring skills
Eligibility Criteria:
- PhD in CSE or allied specialization (as per AICTE/UGC norms)
- M.Tech/ME in relevant specialization
- Consistent academic record
- Good research publications preferred
Preferred Profile:
- Candidates with patents, funded projects, or consultancy experience
- Experience in outcome-based education (OBE)
- Exposure to accreditation processes
