Pairan Group is hiring a careful and technically competent QC / Laboratory Executive for quality testing and documentation related to tyre pyrolysis oil (TPO), process samples and industrial fuel products.
This role is ideal for candidates with laboratory exposure in fuels, oils, chemicals, petroleum products, lubricants, process industries or manufacturing quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, label, retain and test raw-material, in-process and finished-product samples.
- Conduct or coordinate tests for density, viscosity, flash point, moisture/water, calorific value, sulphur, carbon residue and other applicable fuel-quality parameters.
- Prepare and issue Certificates of Analysis (COAs) accurately and on time.
- Maintain laboratory registers, sample-retention records, test reports and calibration schedules.
- Ensure correct use, cleaning and upkeep of laboratory instruments and glassware.
- Coordinate with operations and management on product-quality deviations.
- Support customer sample testing, dispatch approval and quality-related documentation.
- Follow safety procedures for handling oils, chemicals, hot samples and laboratory equipment.
Candidate Profile
- 2–5 years of laboratory or quality-control experience in fuel oil, petroleum products, lubricants, chemicals, solvents, paint, process manufacturing or related industries.
- Qualification: B.Sc. Chemistry, Diploma in Chemical Engineering, B.Tech Chemical, M.Sc. Chemistry or equivalent.
- Exposure to flash-point testing, viscosity, density and fuel/oil quality testing is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of ASTM or IS testing methods will be an advantage.
- Strong documentation and Excel skills are required.
- Candidates must be willing to work from Perundurai SIPCOT / commute reliably.
