Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to join our Mumbai team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing client relationships, increasing revenue, and expanding our logistics and transportation services across the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in logistics and transportation.
- Generate leads through field visits, networking, referrals, and corporate meetings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiate commercial terms.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and close business deals.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, client interactions, and sales activities.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of Business Development/Sales experience (Logistics, Transport, Supply Chain preferred).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel within Mumbai and nearby regions.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in Freight Forwarding, Transportation, Warehousing, Rail/Road Logistics, or Supply Chain.
- Strong corporate network and client-handling experience.
