A Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers, driving sales, and maintaining a positive shopping experience. The role involves product knowledge, customer service, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding products
- Provide accurate information about products, pricing, and promotions
- Recommend products based on customer needs
- Process transactions using POS systems
- Maintain store cleanliness and product displays
- Restock shelves and manage inventory levels
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree is a plus)
- Previous retail or sales experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math and computer skills
- Customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
