We are looking an experienced and result-oriented Production Manager to oversee the manufacturing operations of HVAC equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring production activities to ensure products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, process optimization skills, and a thorough understanding of HVAC manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to achieve production targets within defined timelines.
- Develop production schedules based on customer orders, material availability, and manufacturing capacity.
- Monitor workflow across fabrication, assembly, testing, and final inspection to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, technical specifications, and company manufacturing procedures.
- Coordinate with the Planning, Procurement, Design, Quality, and Maintenance teams to minimize production delays.
- Optimize manpower, machinery, and material utilization to improve operational efficiency and reduce production costs.
- Monitor production performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, rejection rates, downtime, and on-time delivery.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed to maximize equipment availability.
- Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Lead, train, motivate, and evaluate production personnel to build a high-performing team.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and present performance updates to management.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:-
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 4-7 years of experience in production or manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the HVAC equipment manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC products such as Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), Air Washers, Ventilation Systems, Chillers, or related equipment.
- Sound understanding of sheet metal fabrication, insulation, assembly processes, and manufacturing quality standards.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools.
- Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
