- Student Mentorship: Monitor individual student progress, identify learning gaps, and offer personalized academic support. [1, 2]
- Classroom Management: Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment conducive to interactive and inquiry-based learning. [1, 2]
- Parental Communication: Regularly update parents on student performance through written reports and parent-teacher conferences. [1, 2]
- Cross-Curricular Collaboration: Coordinate with commerce departments, share best practices, and contribute to school events and extracurricular programs. [1, 2, 3]
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: A Master's degree in Commerce or Accounting (M.Com) is strictly required by many international schools, often paired with a B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification.
- Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of proven teaching experience within the Cambridge (IGCSE, AS, & A Level) or equivalent international curricula.
- Subject Knowledge: Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, bookkeeping, and business acumen.
- Language: Native or near-native fluency in English.
- Tech Proficiency: Comfort with utilizing smart boards, digital learning tools, and virtual learning environments.
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
