Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Service Manager – Customer Value Services (CVS) with a strong HVAC background to lead the after-sales service operations. The candidate will be responsible for service delivery, annual maintenance contracts (AMC), preventive and breakdown maintenance, customer relationship management, technical support, spare parts planning, and service revenue growth while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day HVAC service operations across assigned locations.
Lead and mentor a team of Service Engineers and Technicians.
Ensure timely execution of preventive maintenance, breakdown services, and emergency support.
Drive AMC/CMC sales, contract renewals, and service revenue.
Maintain high customer satisfaction by ensuring prompt issue resolution.
Plan manpower deployment and optimize service schedules.
Monitor service KPIs, response time, turnaround time (TAT), first-time fix rate, and customer feedback.
Coordinate with Sales, Projects, Procurement, and Technical Support teams.
Ensure availability of critical spare parts and inventory management.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures.
Prepare MIS reports, service dashboards, and monthly performance reports.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company SOPs.
Support installation, commissioning, and warranty services when required.
Handle customer escalations professionally and implement corrective actions.
Required Skills
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems (VRF, VRV, Chillers, AHU, FCU, DX Systems, Package Units, Cooling Towers, Ventilation Systems).
Experience in AMC/CMC management and after-sales service.
Knowledge of HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance practices.
Team leadership and people management skills.
Excellent customer relationship management.
Planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Knowledge of service management software/ERP/CRM.
Strong communication, negotiation, and reporting skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and service teams simultaneously.
Preferred Experience
Experience in HVAC OEMs, HVAC contracting companies, or MEP organizations.
Exposure to commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, healthcare, hospitality, and data center HVAC systems.
Experience in service business development and contract management.
