Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced PPC Head to lead production planning, scheduling, and inventory control in a manufacturing environment. The candidate will ensure on-time delivery, optimum machine utilization, material availability, and coordination between Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead production planning and scheduling activities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
- Ensure material availability and coordinate with Purchase and Stores.
- Monitor production progress and resolve planning bottlenecks.
- Optimize machine capacity and manpower utilization.
- Track WIP, inventory, and production targets.
- Coordinate with NPD, Production, Quality, and Dispatch for timely deliveries.
- Analyze production data and improve planning efficiency.
- Ensure ERP accuracy and prepare MIS reports.
Requirements:
- BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- 10–15 years of experience in PPC in automotive, die casting, CNC machining, or precision engineering.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory management, capacity planning, MRP, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
