Job Summary
We are looking for talented and detail-oriented Design Engineers to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience in machine design, automation systems, special purpose machines (SPM), fixture design, and product development. The candidate will be responsible for developing mechanical concepts, preparing manufacturing drawings, and ensuring designs meet functional, customer, and manufacturing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical concepts, 3D models, assemblies, and assembly drawings.
- Prepare manufacturing drawings with GD&T, tolerances, fits, surface finish requirements, and material specifications.
- Ensure designs meet functional and performance requirements.
- Design products suitable for manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Create and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOM), part numbers, and technical specifications.
- Perform drawing self-checks and verify designs against customer and project requirements.
- Resolve machining, fabrication, assembly, and production-related design issues.
- Manage revision control and implement approved design changes.
- Ensure drawings and designs comply with company standards, customer specifications, and quality requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, production, and quality departments.
