Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and ensure accurate bookkeeping.
- Record journal entries, receipts, payments, and all daily accounting transactions.
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) efficiently.
- Maintain and update the General Ledger.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Generate detailed MIS reports for executive management.
- Prepare Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and report variances.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Prepare, review, and file GST returns accurately and on time.
- Handle TDS calculation, deduction, and timely return filing.
- Maintain up-to-date statutory records and documentation.
- Coordinate seamlessly with internal/external auditors, Chartered Accountants, and regulatory authorities.
Bank & Account Reconciliation
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
- Reconcile vendor and customer ledgers to ensure accuracy.
- Verify payment vouchers, invoices, and supporting financial documents.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve accounting discrepancies promptly.
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Assist the finance team in comprehensive budget preparation.
- Perform cost analysis and variance reporting for ongoing construction projects.
- Support management with proactive financial forecasting.
Documentation & Coordination
- Maintain organized records of invoices, vouchers, purchase orders, and financial documents.
- Maintain proper filing systems and documentation to ensure audit readiness.
- Actively support both internal and external audit processes.
Software Proficiency
- Accounting Software: Advanced proficiency in Tally Prime / Tally ERP.
- Spreadsheets: Advanced MS Excel skills (Must be proficient in Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, and IF formulas).
- General Office: MS Word and PowerPoint.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Master of Commerce (M.Com), or equivalent financial qualification.
- Experience: 3–5 years of proven, relevant experience working as an Accountant.
- Industry Preference: Prior experience in Construction, Infrastructure, EPC, Manufacturing, Real Estate, or Industrial Projects is highly preferred.
- Work Style: Ability to handle complete accounting functions independently with high attention to detail. Must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic Head Office environment.
