The job is to collect, clean, analyse, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, predict outcomes, and provide actionable insights for business decision-making, using statistical tools and programming languages to present findings through reports and visualisations to stakeholders. Key responsibilities include data mining, developing data strategies, ensuring data quality, and communicating complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Fluent in English spoken and good understanding of telephone manners and communication as well.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Management: Mining data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy, and cleaning it to remove irrelevant information.
- Data Analysis: Applying statistical and analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within datasets.
- Interpretation & Insight: Transforming complex data into understandable insights that can be used to solve business problems or improve performance.
- Reporting & Visualization: Presenting findings and insights to stakeholders through reports, graphs, charts, and other visualizations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicating data-driven stories and solutions to both technical and non-technical team members and clients.
- Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvement and developing data strategies to support business goals.
- Data Tool Proficiency: Utilising a range of analytical tools, software, and programming languages like Python and SQL to perform tasks.
