Job Summary
L1 WebSphere Application Server (WAS) Support Engineer is responsible for first-level monitoring, basic troubleshooting, and operational support of WebSphere environments, ensuring system availability and meeting SLA targets.
Key Responsibilities
24x7 Monitoring & Alerts Handling
Monitor WebSphere servers, JVMs, and applications
Respond to alerts, incidents, and service requests
Incident Management (L1 Support)
Perform basic troubleshooting (service down, high CPU/memory, log errors)
Restart servers/services as per SOP
Escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 teams
