Job Overview
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Structural Draftsman with 3–5 years of experience in structural drafting for civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing structural drawings for residential builder floor projects and be capable of working closely with structural engineers to deliver accurate and high-quality construction drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed structural drawings for RCC residential builder floor projects.
- Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings, reinforcement detailing, foundation plans, column layouts, beam layouts, slab reinforcement drawings, and structural sections.
- Revise and update drawings based on structural design changes and site requirements.
- Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure design accuracy.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant Indian Standards (IS Codes) and project specifications.
- Maintain drawing revisions, documentation, and drawing records.
- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and constructability before submission.
- Assist in preparing as-built drawings and resolving drafting-related issues during project execution.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of RCC structural detailing for residential builder floor projects.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Good understanding of construction methodologies and structural drafting standards.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Diploma/ITI in Civil Engineering, Draftsmanship, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in structural drafting.
- Proven experience working on residential builder floor projects is essential.
Preferred
- Working knowledge of Revit Structure or other BIM software will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
