Role Overview
Results-driven Logistics Manager with 6–7 years of experience leading end-to-end logistics, supply chain, warehousing, transportation, and fulfillment operations. Proven expertise in cost optimization, delivery speed enhancement, network efficiency, inventory management, vendor development, and operational excellence. Strong track record of driving scalable logistics processes, improving customer experience, reducing operational costs, and leading cross-functional teams in high-growth D2C, e-commerce, and manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations, including warehousing, inventory management, transportation, dispatch, and last-mile delivery.
- Drive cost optimization strategies through freight analysis, network planning, vendor negotiations, route optimization, and resource utilization improvements.
- Own delivery speed and TAT optimization, ensuring consistent achievement of customer delivery SLAs and operational targets.
- Oversee warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, stock replenishment, cycle counts, and fulfillment efficiency across multiple locations.
- Manage and develop relationships with courier partners, transporters, 3PL providers, and vendors, ensuring performance, scalability, and service excellence.
- Establish and monitor logistics KPIs, dashboards, MIS reports, and performance metrics to drive data-based decision-making.
- Lead initiatives focused on RTO reduction, shipment exception management, and customer escalation resolution.
- Collaborate with procurement, planning, manufacturing, customer support, finance, and sales teams to align logistics operations with business objectives.
- Implement process improvement and operational excellence programs to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
- Drive capacity planning, demand forecasting support, and resource allocation to meet business growth requirements.
- Ensure effective utilization of ERP, WMS, and logistics technology platforms to improve operational visibility and control.
- Lead, mentor, and develop logistics and warehouse teams while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, operational policies, and regulatory requirements across logistics operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering background with strong operational and analytical expertise.
- Experience in D2C, e-commerce, consumer goods, furniture, mattress, manufacturing, or retail industries.
- Demonstrated success in managing high-volume logistics operations and scaling fulfillment capabilities.
- Proven track record of reducing logistics costs while improving service levels and delivery performance.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams, vendors, and multiple stakeholders.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
