Job Description:
We are hiring for our reputed automotive client in Pune and looking for experienced professionals in Fuel Routing and Mechanical Routing Engineering.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automotive exterior component development with strong knowledge of routing design, vehicle packaging, and manufacturing feasibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize Fuel Routing solutions considering vehicle packaging requirements
- Perform Mechanical Routing with focus on thermal management and cooling considerations
- Create technical proposals considering Tooling, Manufacturing, and Assembly feasibility
- Ensure robust routing design for durability, serviceability, and vehicle integration
- Coordinate routing layouts with overall vehicle architecture requirements
- Support design validation and manufacturability assessments
- Work on routing concepts aligned with packaging and production requirements
Required Skills:
- 3–6 years of experience in Automotive Exterior Component Development
- Preferred experience in Fuel Routing
- Strong understanding of Fuel Line Routing, Tooling, and Manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of Packaging Requirements at Overall Vehicle level
- Experience in Technical Proposal creation
- Excellent command of NX – Solid Modelling, Surfacing, Assembly, and Drafting
- Good understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes
