Position Summary
The Administrative Intern will support the firm's daily administrative and operational activities. This internship offers hands-on experience in a professional accounting environment and exposure to office administration, client communication, document management, and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with data entry, document preparation, and record maintenance.
- Organize and manage electronic files and client documentation.
- Support client onboarding and administrative workflows.
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and calendar events.
- Monitor and respond to routine emails and inquiries.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as needed.
- Assist with CRM and practice management system updates.
- Coordinate with accounting staff to ensure timely document collection.
- Perform internet research and administrative projects.
- Help maintain compliance with firm policies and confidentiality requirements.
- Provide general administrative support to partners and team members.
QualificationsRequired
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Management, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of client information.
Preferred
- Previous internship or administrative experience.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and document management tools.
- Basic understanding of accounting or bookkeeping concepts.
- Experience with project coordination or customer service.
