Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Injection Molding Manager to lead plastic product development, tooling, and high-volume manufacturing operations. The role will be responsible for ensuring efficient molding processes, robust tooling design, product quality, and successful new product introductions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead plastic Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Moldflow analysis, and tooling reviews.
- Manage and qualify mold manufacturers, toolmakers, and external vendors.
- Review and approve complex injection mold designs, including hot runners, sliders, lifters, and cooling systems.
- Establish and optimize scientific injection molding parameters to reduce cycle time, defects, and scrap.
- Lead troubleshooting of molding, tooling, and plastic component quality issues.
- Own DFMEA, PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, and new product introduction documentation.
- Guide and mentor engineers on plastic design, molding processes, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Plastics, Polymer, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in injection molding, plastic product development, and production.
- Strong knowledge of injection molds, tooling systems, polymer materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or similar CAD software.
- Proven experience managing vendors and leading products from development to mass production.
- Strong problem-solving, leadership, and cross-functional team management skills.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
