Job Description
We are hiring an experienced Electrical Design Engineer for one of our reputed clients. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical system design, engineering calculations, and detailed design for industrial, commercial, or data center projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical system designs and engineering calculations.
- Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), power distribution layouts, lighting layouts, cable schedules, earthing & lightning protection systems, and control schematics.
- Perform load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop analysis, short-circuit studies, protection coordination, and arc flash studies.
- Prepare and review electrical drawings, equipment specifications, datasheets, material requisitions, BOMs, and technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, IS standards, and local electrical regulations.
- Coordinate with Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Instrumentation, Procurement, and Construction teams.
- Review vendor quotations, technical bids, drawings, and equipment specifications.
- Provide technical support during installation, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and project execution.
- Ensure engineering quality, safety, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
