Key Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and stitch fabrics for home textile products.
- Operate industrial sewing machines and related equipment.
- Read and follow design specifications, patterns, and work orders.
- Perform hemming, piping, pleating, and decorative stitching as required.
- Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and defects.
- Alter or repair textile products when necessary.
- Maintain sewing machines and workstations in good condition.
- Ensure efficient use of fabrics and minimize material waste.
- Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
- Follow workplace safety and housekeeping procedures.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in sewing and stitching techniques.
- Ability to operate industrial sewing machines.
- Knowledge of different fabric types and their handling requirements.
- Measuring, cutting, and pattern-reading skills.
- Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Time management and productivity skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- High School (10th/12th) or equivalent.
- Certificate or training in tailoring, garment construction, or sewing is preferred.
- Experience in home textiles, furnishings, or garment manufacturing is an advantage.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
