Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced GoodData Engineer with 4–6 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Data Engineering. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the GoodData platform, including Logical Data Models (LDM), MAQL, metrics/KPIs, dashboards, and semantic modeling.
The candidate should also have strong SQL, data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT experience and be comfortable working with business stakeholders and data engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain analytics solutions using the GoodData platform.
- Develop and maintain GoodData LDM (Logical Data Model), semantic models, metrics, dashboards, and reports.
- Create reusable business metrics and KPIs using MAQL.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for reporting and analytics.
- Integrate GoodData with enterprise data warehouses such as Snowflake, Databricks, Amazon Redshift, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
- Design data models using star schema and dimensional modeling concepts.
- Work with ETL/ELT processes and data integration pipelines.
- Troubleshoot data quality, reporting, and dashboard performance issues.
- Optimize queries, data models, and dashboards for improved performance.
- Manage GoodData workspaces, user access, roles, and security configurations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Support testing, deployment, production support, and enhancement of BI solutions.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum activities including sprint planning, testing, reviews, and production support.
- Maintain technical documentation and follow BI development best practices.

- Strong knowledge of GoodData LDM, MAQL, semantic modeling, metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and reports.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in relational databases and/or cloud data warehouses.
- Good understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and star schema.
- Experience with ETL/ELT and data integration.
- Experience with one or more platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
- Understanding of BI dashboard and report development.
- Knowledge of data quality and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
- Basic knowledge of Python and/or REST APIs will be an advantage.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Eligibility Criteria
- Experience: 4–6 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days only.
- Freelancers / Independent Consultants: Not eligible.
- Candidates with frequent job hopping will not be considered.
- Candidates must be comfortable working in a remote environment.
- Strong hands-on experience in the mandatory technical skills is essential.
Compensation & Work Arrangement
CTC: ₹10–15 LPA
Work Location: Pune
Joining Requirement: Immediate to 30 Days
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Candidates with experience in GoodData development, GoodData-to-Power BI migration, semantic layer development, or GoodData LDM/MAQL will be preferred.
Candidates from Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik, or other BI platforms with strong semantic modeling, SQL, data warehousing, and analytics experience may also be considered if they have the ability to quickly adapt to GoodData.
