Tamil Nadu Work Type: 3-Shift Based Job Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Chemist with hands-on experience in Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and Biogas operations. The candidate will be responsible for water and wastewater analysis, biogas process monitoring, laboratory testing, chemical analysis, and maintaining process and laboratory records. Key Responsibilities Monitor and analyze WTP process parameters and treated water quality. Perform routine chemical and biological testing of water and wastewater. Conduct pH, TDS, COD, BOD, DO, MLSS, Chlorine and other relevant tests. Monitor and analyze Biogas plant process parameters. Monitor biological treatment and anaerobic digestion processes. Check and maintain parameters related to biogas production and process efficiency. Handle laboratory chemicals, instruments, and testing equipment safely. Maintain daily laboratory reports, test results, WTP and Biogas records. Identify process deviations and coordinate with WTP/Production teams for corrective action. Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety procedures, and environmental requirements. Supervise and guide junior chemists/operators when required. Qualification & Experience B.Sc / M.Sc Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related qualification. Relevant hands-on experience in both WTP and Biogas operations is mandatory. Practical knowledge of water/wastewater testing and biological treatment processes. Experience in biogas plant process monitoring and laboratory analysis.
