UAV Drone Technical Sales & Flight Test Engineer

About IZI
IZI is building next-generation UAV and drone technology for consumer, enterprise, industrial, and defense applications. We are looking for a technically skilled professional who can combine engineering expertise with customer engagement by conducting flight demonstrations, product evaluations, and technical sales activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct UAV flight demonstrations, trials, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for customers.
- Support enterprise, government, and defense customers with technical presentations and product demonstrations.
- Perform flight testing, validation, and field deployments while ensuring DGCA compliance and safety standards.
- Coordinate product evaluations, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and customer feedback with the R&D team.
- Prepare technical documentation, demo reports, solution presentations, and compliance documents.
- Support BOM preparation, payload integration, and product configuration.
- Assist in government tenders, GeM documentation, and technical bid preparation.
- Represent IZI at exhibitions, customer meetings, and defense demonstrations.
- Travel extensively for customer visits, field trials, and technical support.
Required Skills
- Hands-on UAV flying and flight testing experience.
- Strong knowledge of PX4, ArduPilot, Mission Planner, GPS/RTK, telemetry, and payload integration.
- Understanding of UAV systems, batteries, sensors, and mission planning.
- Knowledge of DGCA Drone Rules and flight safety procedures.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and technical problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Army, Defense, Police, Disaster Management, or Government organizations.
- Familiarity with GeM, government tenders, and defense procurement processes.
- Exposure to UAV integration, robotics, aerospace, or field engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Aerospace, Electronics, Robotics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in UAVs, drones, robotics, defense technology, or technical field engineering.
