Job Title: Senior Interior DesignerJob Summary
We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Interior Designer to lead residential, commercial, and hospitality interior design projects from concept through completion. The ideal candidate has a strong design portfolio, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead design teams while delivering innovative, functional, and aesthetically compelling spaces that meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead interior design projects from initial concept to final execution.
- Develop creative design concepts, mood boards, layouts, and presentations.
- Prepare detailed space planning, furniture layouts, and design documentation.
- Produce and review drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed interior drawings.
- Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and accessories.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, vendors, contractors, and project managers.
- Conduct client meetings, understand project requirements, and present design solutions.
- Prepare project specifications, BOQs, material schedules, and estimates.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure design execution aligns with approved plans.
- Resolve design and site-related issues during project execution.
- Mentor and guide junior designers and review their work.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, sustainability practices, and design technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of professional experience in interior design.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit (preferred), 3ds Max/Lumion/V-Ray, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and construction details.
- Strong understanding of local building codes and industry standards.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
