The IGCSE Exam Coordinator is responsible for the effective planning, administration, and smooth execution of all Cambridge IGCSE examinations in accordance with Cambridge Assessment International Education regulations and school policies. The coordinator ensures compliance, accuracy, confidentiality, and timely communication with students, staff, parents, and examination boards.
Key Responsibilities
Examination Administration
- Plan, organize, and manage all internal and external IGCSE examinations.
- Coordinate exam registrations, entries, amendments, withdrawals, and late entries through Cambridge portals.
- Maintain accurate candidate records, timetables, and examination documentation.
- Ensure all deadlines set by Cambridge are met.
Compliance & Regulations
- Maintain full compliance with Cambridge examination regulations and standards.
- Stay updated on changes in Cambridge policies, administrative procedures, and assessment requirements.
- Ensure secure handling of confidential exam materials, question papers, and candidate information.
- Oversee secure storage and distribution of examination materials.
Exam Logistics
- Prepare examination schedules, room allocations, seating plans, and invigilation arrangements.
- Recruit, train, and supervise invigilators according to exam board guidelines.
- Coordinate special access arrangements and accommodations for eligible students.
- Ensure exam venues meet regulatory requirements.
