Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Pattern Maker with hands-on exposure to steel casting patterns for CMS/WCMS components. The candidate should be capable of developing, repairing, modifying, and maintaining patterns as per approved drawings and production requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture, repair, and modify patterns for steel casting components
- Read and interpret engineering drawings for pattern development
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality of patterns before production
- Coordinate with Methoding, Design, and Production teams during pattern development
- Carry out pattern corrections based on trial results and production feedback
- Maintain pattern inventory and ensure proper identification and storage
- Support new product development and pattern improvement activities
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in steel casting pattern making
- Knowledge of CMS/WCMS or heavy engineering castings
- Ability to read engineering and foundry drawings
- Experience in pattern modification and maintenance
- Good understanding of foundry processes and shrinkage allowances
Eligibility
- ITI / Diploma or equivalent technical qualification
- 5–10 years of experience in a steel casting foundry
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Baidyabati, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
